Arch Ambassadors are student leaders who play a key role in supporting and enhancing the Arch experience at RPI!
They serve as leaders, connectors, and advocates within their Arch cohort, helping to build a strong sense of community through active engagement and collaboration.

In this on-campus role, Arch Ambassadors develop valuable leadership skills by organizing and leading local trips, promoting both on- and off-campus events, and working alongside RPI faculty and staff to help facilitate established Arch programming.

Arch Ambassadors help foster meaningful connections among students, creating a supportive and interactive environment where peers can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Say Hello To Our Arch Ambassadors!

Student Ambassador

Anna Carver

Hi! I'm Anna! I’m a Mechanical Engineering major with a minor in Psychology at RPI. I appreciate RPI because of its strong reputation; professionals and companies recognize how competitive and demanding RPI is, and I’m proud to be part of a community known for producing capable, driven students. My interests include meeting and connecting with people from all backgrounds, and I enjoy balancing my STEM academics with art and creativity, which I believe is key to becoming a well-rounded engineer. A fun fact about me: I’m an avid snowboarder and definitely prefer cold weather over the heat!

Carla Perez Espina

My name is Carla Perez Espina. I am in the class of 2027 and Industrial & Systems Engineering. I currently reside in Iowa. Outside of academics I am interested in doing strength training. What I like about RPI is the welcoming community within the student body. We are very willing to help everyone, which I always appreciate it since I am not from New York state. A fun fact about me is that can speak Spanish.

Arch Ambassador Headshot

Alanah Angus

I am a Junior majoring in Computer Science & Information Technology and Web Sciences (ITWS) at RPI. I’m passionate about technology and its endless possibilities, whether it’s through coding, video games, or exploring new digital trends. Outside of tech, I have a deep love for theater, reading, and anime, which offer me an inspiring escape and creative outlet. What I love most about RPI is it's  diverse and collaborative environment, where passionate individuals unite through their shared love of STEM and the innovative paths it opens up.

Fun Fact: I’ve been part of 8 theatrical productions, including plays and musicals, and I’ve loved every moment of the stage magic!
